My Uncle Charles was a quiet man – I never knew about his experience in the WWII Pacific theater until he died. His time-in-grade had more in common with Rodger Young than Walter Mitty. Let’s not forget the people that fought & died to get us where we are today (and, yeah, I don’t think my uncle Charles would approve of Gubmint today – but he would have fought for it, all the same).
Forgetting about Memorial day it’s a not a big thing. I didn’t know about national Learning Day. ;-)

Benjamin, you are a funny funny man. I’ve been reading your blog via planet.ubuntulinux.org for some time and you never fail to make me laugh. Kudos.
