At Kinokuyina in New York, I noticed that Playboy was sorted into the "Men’s Fashion" section of the magazine rack.
Funny. I wasn’t under the impression that Playboy’s primary selling points included either either men or clothing.

I thought it was fashionable for men to ‘read the articles’ in Playboy.
Well, it is directed at men, and the interest is in what the people are wearing… or not wearing… OK, yeah, still a stretch.
Yeah, I was a bit surprised when I noticed men’s fashion in the playboy store in London ;p
You have to read the articles. ;)
Actually, Playboy is in large part a men’s fashion magazine. It has nude photos, often-bawdy cartoons, advice columns (on matters sexual and sartorial), political essays, short stories, interviews, etc, and quite a bit of GQ-style fashion layout stuff.
It’s up to each reader to notice or not notice each of those things ;) But it’s really not a bad call, in categorizing magazines, IMO.
