Being Green

I think being green — and I do not mean this in any of the metaphorical senses of the term but rather in the sense of having skin of a green hue — is a pretty undesirably thing overall.

That said, I’d be happy to be green if it meant I could photosynthesize.

  1. If you don’t mind my asking, what is the point of these random pontifications?  Don’t get me wrong, they are amusing to read, in the “angels on a head of a pin” sense; I’m just curious what the point is?  Are you a philosophy major, or are these just random thoughts?

  2. My blog, like basically everyone elses, is a partial brain dump. The “point” of telling people 90% of what is said in blogs is not always clear to me except that it’s information that people want to share. In the world of blogs that is the only requirements.

I write down thoughts I have that I find interesting or intriguing or insightful and or that make me smile. If that makes me a philosopher, I guess I’m flattered. If it makes me a random thinker, I’m happy with to take that.

Like everything written, it’s whatever you (the reader) get out of it. Your mileage will vary.

  3. Additionally…

I’m actually an award winning philosopher and I current have a position teaching philosophy at a prestigious United States university.

In other words: this is deep shit man. If you’d get it, it might just be over your head.
