Chama o Bombeiro!

In Brazilian Portuguese, "bombeiro" is the word for both a fireman and a plumber. If someone asks you to call a "bombeiro," their statement is usually unambiguous due to context. Usually.

  1. Don’t know if it was intencional, but “Chama” can also mean both “Call” and “Flame” :)

  2. “Bombeiro” as “plumber” is not so common in Brazil as the word “encanador”. It is used in several major cities of Brazil, but not all.

IMHO, the fact that “bomba” means both “bomb” and “pump” it WAY more interesting :)
