Mika explained to me yesterday that she she is annoyed when people begin statements with, "I'll tell you what."

I'll tell you what, that's a pretty strange pet peeve.

It bugs me when people say "and what not". Also "purposely" rather than "deliberately" or "on purpose" gets to me for some reason.

I'll tell you what: Straightforward is preferred over passive subversive:
